Product Test North Sea 2011

A full-scale product test was performed in 2011 by the Royal Dutch coastguard, navy and rescue services on the North Sea. Four simulated pirate attacks at varying speeds put the product to the test with promising results in all cases the pirates were unable to come within five meters of the ship.

Swivelboom Prototype: SWB-7

P-Trap Swivelboom 7 (SWB-7) is a P- Trap prototype. The system is currently operational and makes multiple transits through the Gulf of Adan and West Africa. Prototype swivelboom length is 7 meter, fixed sheaves.
